Intelligence

In a less than stable world, individuals and businesses are under constant danger from unpredictable and asymmetric threats.  Drawing on open and privileged source information, Blue Forge Consulting will provide intelligence assessments on a broad range of issues from risk in country to threats to shipping in high risk areas.  In-country or desk-top studies are offered.  Clients include oil majors, an international maritime journal and a cruise line company.

Safety

Safety is everyone’s business but is often ignored in the face of increasing pressures to deliver in tight timelines.  In complex security environments, safety is linked to effective delivery under intense pressure.  Blue Forge consultants have the experience to be able to step back from a threat environment and note the aspects of a project that could be jeopardised through lack of a coherent safely plan.  Plans can be written, tested and exercised either in-country, on board ship, or within the UK.

Security

Alongside safety, security of people and equipment is fundamental to effective product delivery.  Blue Forge Consulting can advise with authority on a broad range of maritime security issues and requirements, including ship protection, equipment, routing and manoeuvring.  Blue Forge has firm connections with international maritime security organisations, including NATO, the EU and the IMO.  Advice will be provided on training, including on plans, procedures and drills.

Blue Forge Consultants

Blue Forge consultants have at least 20 years’ military experience each, including work in conflict zones from Nigeria to Afghanistan, the Gulf of Guinea, the Indian Ocean, the Arabian Gulf and the South China Sea.  All are staff trained and have worked from the tactical to the strategic level in joint operational commands.  They are willing and able to travel and most areas are in bounds for in-country studies or assessments.
